Last Friday 4th December saw Battles take their new songs to Germany for the first time with specially-invited guests.

In other news US magazine XLR8R have named Butter as a favourite of 2009 together with an interview and photos from Shaun Bloodworth which were taken in Glasgow around the same time of the North / South / East / West photos.

Hudson Mohawke has delivered his debut album ‘Butter’, which with its glossy, hyper-real production may sound as if it was cooked up in palm fringed LA and not homegrown Glasgow, Scotland and is as influenced by 90’s UK dance music as it is by golden era hip-hop.
